Spicy Cucumber Salad

  Ingredients   1 cucumber sliced Trader Joe's everything bagel seasoning to taste Trader Joe's crunchy chili onion to taste Optional:cheese of choice:(feta, parmesan), few spoons Greek yogurt Mix all the ingredients and enjoy

Kala Chana


Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups kala chana pressure cooked
  • 1-2 tomatoes 
  • 1 green chili
  • 4-5 cloves garlic 
  • Mustard seeds
  • Ajmo
  • Hing
  • 3 tablespoon Chana flour dry roasted 
  • Oil 2 tablespoons
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp dhana jeeru
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric 
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili
  • 1 tablespoon jaggery

1) Pressure cook soaked kala chana and keep chana water.

2) Dry roast chana flour on low flame, put it aside

3) Place oil in cooking vessel, once warm add mustard seeds, ajmo, and hing. Now add garlic and green chili. After about 30 seconds, add tomatoes followed by masala and salt. Now add jaggery and let cook

4) Once tomatoes are mushy, add chana flour and kala chana with water

5) Stir well and let boil

6) May garnish with cilantro
