Instant Pot Broccoli Garlic Pasta
- 1 bunch of garlic
- Olive oil
- Crushed red pepper
- Fennel seeds
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
- 16 ounce broccoli frozen or fresh (get broccoli crowns if frozen)
- 1 onion chopped
- 12 ounce pasta
- Butter to taste
- Parmesan cheese or cheese of choice
- Dried/fresh oregano
- Pesto(optional)
- Fresh herbs(optional)
1) In sauté in instant pot, add olive oil, crushed red pepper, fennel seeds, and garlic. After about a minute, add onion, salt, and black pepper. Let cook a few minutes, then add about 16 ounce of broccoli. After a minute, add 12 ounce of pasta.
2) Add water to barely/slightly cover ingredients
3) Look at pasta box boiling instructions and divide cooking time to half of minimum time requirement.
4) Instant release once beeps. Now add a little butter and olive oil. Add parmesan cheese to taste and oregano.
5) Optional can add pesto and fresh herbs.
