Pickled Carrots

 Ingredients

4 carrots

3/4 tablespoon rai na kuria(split mustard seeds)

1/2 tsp salt

Pinch of turmeric 

1 tablespoon oil

Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

Optional citric acid




1) Cut 4 whole carrots in pieces

2) In bowl, add oil, split mustard seeds, salt, and lemon juice. Stir well. May add citric acid if want to.

3) Add carrots to oil mixture and stir. Cover.

4) Leave out for 8 hours, then place in jar in refrigerator.
