Pad Thai


 Ingredients

  • Rice Noodles-about 8 oz
  • Tofu firm to extra firm
  • Soy sauce
  • Browning sauce
  • Ginger-1/2 inch
  • Garlic-4 cloves
  • 1 green chili
  • 1/4 cabbage 
  • 2 long carrots
  • Green onions
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar
  • Chopped peanuts
  • Lemon/lime


Methods
1) Soak rice noodles in water few hours before cooking. Chop veggies and tofu as desired.

2) Place pan/wok on medium flame, place oil, add tofu. Once tofu starts to change color, add soy sauce and sugar. Now move tofu to side and place garlic, ginger, and green chili.

3) Next, add noodles and add browning sauce, mix well. 

4) Now, add veggies and salt to taste, continue to stir for few minutes.  Add green onions and stir.

5) Garnish with chopped peanuts and lemon/lime.
