Ingredients

Toor Dal- 1/2 cup
Chana Dal- 1/2 cup
Moong Dal- 1/2 cup
Tomato-1
Salt- 3 tsp
Sugar- 1/2 tsp
Oil-2 tsp
Cumin- 2 tsp
Hing- 1/2 tsp
Bay leaves- 2
Cardamon- 2-3
Cloves- 4
Turmeric 1 tsp
Water- 4 cups

Grinded mixture of:
Ginger-1.5 to 3 inch
Green chillis- 2-3
Cilantro- 3 tbsp

Garnish
Cilantro
Lemon juice




1) Set instant pot on saute mode, add oil or ghee, then once hot, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves, green cardamon, and hing. Saute for about a minute, then add cut tomatoes and saute.

2) Add washed and soaked dal(soaked for about 30 minutes) and tumeric, sugar, and salt. Combine them together than add ground cilantro, green chill, and ginger paste.

3) Now add 4 cups of water and mix.

4) Set on pressure mode for 10 minutes and place on keep warm mode so pressure releases naturally.

5) Can add more water if needed and garnish with cilantro and lemon juice

6) Enjoy
