Tomato Soup
Ingredients
- 5 to 7 tomatoes
- 1-2 onions
- Red bell pepper
- Carrots
- Black pepper whole
- Cumin seeds
- Thyme
- Basil
- Bay leaf
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Few drops of vinegar
- Crushed red pepper
- Handful cashews soaked in a couple spoons of milk
- 5 to 7 tomatoes

- Few drops of vinegar
- Crushed red pepper
- Handful cashews soaked in a couple spoons of milk
- In a pan, combine olive oil and butter. Then add cumin seeds, whole black pepper, bay leaf, and garlic and onions and saute.
- Once cooked, add carrots, red pepper, crushed red pepper, thyme, and basil. Stir and let cook.
- Then add chopped tomatoes with a little bit of water few drops of vinegar, and salt and sugar along with the milk soaked few cashews.
- Once tomatoes are soft, turn off stove and let cool.
- Blend the mixture into a desired consistency.
- Pour mixture in a pot and simmer.

Pressure cook 5 minutes with natural release about 20 minutes
