Green Rice

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Rice
1 cup Water
Butter
Garlic
Spinach
Cilantro
Jalapeno pepper
Salt to taste




  1. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixer, puree a handful of spinach, cilantro leaves, (can add mint and parsley leaves) along with one to two cloves of garlic, jalapeno pepper (add any favorite hot pepper of your liking)
  3. In a saucepan, place butter, then rice, cook for a few minutes so butter infiltrates the rice. Then add green puree, cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add water; cover the saucepan with a lid when water is almost evaporated and turn of the stove.
