Green Rice
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Rice
1 cup Water
Butter
Garlic
Spinach
Cilantro
Jalapeno pepper
Salt to taste

- Soak rice for 30 minutes.
- In a mixer, puree a handful of spinach, cilantro leaves, (can add mint and parsley leaves) along with one to two cloves of garlic, jalapeno pepper (add any favorite hot pepper of your liking)
- In a saucepan, place butter, then rice, cook for a few minutes so butter infiltrates the rice. Then add green puree, cook for a few minutes.
- Add water; cover the saucepan with a lid when water is almost evaporated and turn of the stove.
